The Health Food Center is located at 6015 Market Street in Boardman, Ohio, 1 mile North of Rt. 224 and next to Dunkin' Donuts. It has been at its current location for the past 7 years having previously been in Federal Plaza West and in Higbee's Arcade (both in Youngstown, Ohio).

Cyril Nickoloff took over ownership of the store in 1947.  It was and is still is a family run business.  Jane, Cyril's wife, and Stephanie Sooy, Cyril's sister-in-law, along with daughters Joyce, Judy and Nancy all worked at The HFC in the past.

Currently, Nancy and husband Edward Fox both own and operate The HFC with a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The HFC specializes in vitamins and supplements, herbal, homeopathic and alternative remedies, and diet aids.  The store carries a wide variety of beverages including numerous types of tea, coffee, bottled water and healthy beverages as well.  The HFC sells various of well known body building, gluten-free and organic products, frozen foods and limited produce.

As a long-standing tradition and committment to their customers, The HFC has always been happy to place special orders for hard-to-find and unusual products.
